Eurocom's Business has grown
due to project delivery and in no small way due to referrals.
Both client referrals, creating repeat business and
staff referrals which has enabled us to build a team
environment and camaraderie.
Our staff retention rates are
excellent. Out of over 90 staff, 85% have been part
of the company for over 5 years and 50% of those 10
years.
"Your referral methods
seem to work"
" You must be doing
something right.....”
…are common statements
we hear. None the less we welcome contact from 'dynamic'
engineers and managers who welcome working in a friendly
team environment and where going to work on a project
is not a chore.
TRAINING
& LICENSED STAFF
Eurocom are a secondary licensed
authority to issue Authority to Work Certificates for
communications systems on London Underground.
Whilst all Eurocom staff are
skilled and qualified, we are currently rolling out
the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers licensing
scheme (telecommunications). This scheme complements
our in-house competency scheme and has already resulted
in our Project Engineers, Telecom Installers and Telecom
Maintainers successfully gaining their IRSE licenses.
Several of our engineers have
recently attended residential courses ranging from Cisco
Certified Network Engineers to fibre optic splicing
and testing.
Also we are continuing with our
in house training on communication sub-systems with
all engineers participating and several staff have recommenced
college on our 'sponsor back to college' scheme.
Our in house training staff have
also successfully developed apprenticeship training
modules which have been so successful we have been commissioned
to provide these to clients’ apprentices.
YOUNG
ENTERPRISE
Young Enterprise is a national
education charity founded in 1963 to forge links between
schools and industry. Its mission is to inspire and
equip young people to learn and succeed through enterprise.
Eurocom are proud to be involved
with the Young Enterprise Company Programme with our
managers volunteering as business advisers and mentors,
enabling students at local schools to set up and run
their own companies over the academic year, whilst also
serving on the Lambeth and Southwark Area Board. We
look forward to developing this relationship and contributing
to the local community in the future.
